We had a good result with second place. It was an exciting finish for sure at the end with the whole field bunching up. The car went away a little bit at the end, but I’m really happy. I had a good battle with RC Enerson. Florian was a little bit out of reach, but it was a really good result. Things finally seem to be going our way, so Sonoma should be really good. It’s similar to Mid-Ohio and the cars should be really good. We’re in good shape for the team. We moved up in team points, and driver points, and that’s about all you can do.

Today was a nice weather day at Mid-Ohio, except for the fog, which apparently made it so that the medical helicopter couldn’t land. We were delayed a while. I really had to use the restroom, but I wasn’t girly enough like Franzoni to get out of my car. He got out of his car on the delay. I had a good start to the race. I started 8th and moved up to 6th on the first lap. And then I had a battle with victor for 5th until I fell back while they were on new tires and I was on used. Once my tires came in, I started to set some fast laps, one I think was the second fastest. I caught up to the main pack when I started losing something in my right rear, possibly a shock. Turn one was a little scary and I ended up going off in one of the laps. That allowed Austin Cindric to get back by me. Then I held my place in 7th until the caution came out and I rode around until the finish. Solid weekend for me; we had a fast car and got on the podium once and had two more solid finishes. Looking forward to capping off the season at Sonoma. You never know what will happen, but we’re looking forward to two wins out there.

Overall, awesome weekends. I’m really happy with three good races. I brought the car home each time. Race 3 today I executed very well, I just forgot to execute on the start. The first start was botched, and the second time around when we did start, I got caught out, just kind of sleeping, focusing on the tires. The field got away and I never caught up to them. Overall, very happy and I’m stoked for Sonoma.
