Dyszelski goes from the Streets of St. Pete to NOLA Motorsports Park

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.
– With the long off-season finally concluding this coming weekend, Danny Dyszelski is set to dive right into the heart of the race season. Set to make his first USF2000 Presented by Cooper Tires start on the Streets of St. Petersburg, the young American will then travel to NOLA Motorsports Park to kick off the Blue Marble Radical Cup North America program in “The Big Easy.”

Joining VRD Racing at the barrier-lined, temporary circuit in St. Petersburg, Florida, Dyszelski is looking to put an off-season test program behind him as he looks forward to the first green flag of 2023. Having raced in the USF2000 program in 2022, Dyszelski will be a rookie on the Streets of St. Petersburg but is unfazed by the challenge.

“I am up for the task this weekend and look forward to wheeling my VRD Racing prepped machine around the Streets of St. Pete,” expressed Dyszelski. “While I have not raced there in the past, I have watched a lot of videos and been working on the sim to make sure that I am 100 percent ready to go. I have the best team in the paddock behind me and my goal is to finish every lap this weekend. I know if I can do that, the chances for a good result are there.”

Following the St. Pete event, Dyszelski will immediately change gears and head to NOLA Motorsports Park to join WISKO Racing for the opening round of the Blue Marble Radical Cup North America series. Testing his new Pro 1500 Radical car two weekends ago at Carolina Motorsports Park, Dyszelski went on to dominate the day’s wheel-to-wheel action setting a new unofficial track record the very first weekend the car was on track.

Dyszelski continued, “The new Radical was incredible. We were up to speed quickly and the guys from WISKO Racing did a great job preparing it to hit the track. With USF2000 this weekend and Radical Cup next weekend, I am looking to start 2023 off in a winning way.”

Dyszelski and the complete USF2000 Presented by Cooper Tires grid will hit the track on Friday, March 3 for their one and only practice session on the Streets of St. Petersburg. That afternoon, qualifying will take place that will set the grid for Saturday afternoon’s race one of the season before race two on Sunday morning. Three days off between events will see Dyszelski travel home before hopping behind the wheel of his Pro 1500 Radical Cup car Thursday in New Orleans.
