USF2000 drivers team up for nine top-10 finishes

ELKHART LAKE, Wis. – Exclusive Autosport continued its strong 2026 campaign this past weekend at Road America, taking on a busy three-race USF2000 program at the iconic 4.014-mile Wisconsin road course. The team arrived in Elkhart Lake with a talented seven-driver lineup featuring Anthony Martella, Evan Cooley, Gabriel Cahan, Ayrton Cahan, Connor Aspley, Cole Medeiros and Leonardo Serravalle, and left with a victory, multiple podium finishes, several strong top-10 results and valuable championship points after an action-packed weekend of competition. Martella led the way with a victory in Race 2 and a fifth in Race 3 to advance to sixth in the championship standings.

“We’re incredibly proud of the effort our entire USF2000 team put in this weekend at Road America,” said Michael Duncalfe, Co-Owner and CEO of Exclusive Autosport. “To come away with a race win, multiple podium finishes and strong performances across a seven-car lineup is a testament to the hard work our crew and engineering staff continue to put in behind the scenes each and every weekend. I thought all of our drivers showed tremendous pace and continued to make important progress throughout the event, and it was extremely encouraging to see the depth and strength we had across the entire program. It was fantastic to see both Anthony and Evan capitalize on their speed with podium finishes in Race 2, bringing home first and third place, respectively

"We are incredibly thankful Evan was able to climb out of his Tatuus USF2000 race car under his own power following his serious incident in Race 3. Moments like those serve as an important reminder of just how far safety standards in our sport have come, and we are incredibly grateful for the engineering and protection built into the Tatuus race car. Overall, there were a lot of positives to take away from this weekend, and we’re looking forward to carrying that momentum with us into Mid-Ohio.”

The Road America weekend began on Thursday with a pair of unofficial USF2000 test sessions, allowing the Exclusive Autosport drivers and engineers to dial in their setups ahead of the competitive sessions. Official action kicked off on Friday with a single practice session followed by two qualifying runs that set the grids for the weekend's three races. Evan Cooley led the way for the team, showcasing impressive pace throughout the day and securing the outside front-row starting position for Race 1. Anthony Martella and Ayrton Cahan also positioned themselves well inside the top 10, while Cole Medeiros, Gabriel Cahan, Leonardo Serravalle and Connor Aspley continued making steady gains throughout the sessions, giving the team a strong foundation heading into the weekend's three races.

Saturday's racing action began with Race 1 in the morning, where the EA drivers battled throughout the field in a highly competitive 12-lap contest. Martella delivered one of the drives of the race, charging forward to finish on the podium in third place on track before a post-race penalty ultimately relegated him to ninth in the final results. Cooley continued his strong weekend with a fourth-place finish, while Ayrton Cahan added another top-10 result in sixth. Full-time EA USF Juniors driver Medeiros finished eighth in his USF2000 debut, putting four team drivers in the top 10 to kick off the weekend.

Race 2 capped off the afternoon and proved to be a highlight for the team as Martella bounced back in impressive fashion, charging from third on the grid to score a commanding victory. Cooley backed up the result with another strong run to third, while Gabriel Cahan added a top-10 finish to give Exclusive Autosport multiple drivers near the front of the field heading into Sunday's final race.

Race 3 on Sunday morning brought the Road America weekend to a close, with the field battling through multiple caution periods in a race that tested patience and execution. The start of the race was slowed due to a multi-car incident that included a heavy incident for Cooley, who thankfully climbed from his car under his own power. When the race went back to green, Martella battled in the lead group and capped off a strong weekend for Exclusive Autosport with another top-five finish, crossing the line in fifth after starting 10th on the grid. Ayrton Cahan scored his second top-10 of the weekend with a run to seventh, while Aspley had a top-10 in his sights before a last-lap off-track excursion in Canada Corner left him 16th. Serravalle finished his first weekend with the EA squad with a best finish of 13th in the final race.

The team now has four drivers in the top 10 of the championship standings, led by Cooley in fourth. Martella’s Race 2 win and three top-10s on the weekend have elevated him to sixth, while the Cahan brothers continue their battle for Rookie of the Year honors with Ayrton in eighth and Gabriel in ninth.

The next stop on the schedule will take the team and the drivers to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on the July Fourth weekend.
