Dawsonville, GA – VRD Racing is excited to announce that Jack Mohrhardt will compete in the 2026 USF2000 Championship as part of the team's growing lineup. The 18-year-old American driver adds more experience to the VRD Racing USF2000 lineup as he takes the next step in his motorsport career.
Mohrhardt competed in the Skip Barber Formula Race Series in 2024, and following that campaign, he joined VRD Racing to compete in Formula FARA in 2025, gaining crucial experience in the team's development program while refining his racecraft.
"I'm thrilled to continue my journey with VRD Racing and step up to USF2000 this season," said Mohrhardt. "The team has been instrumental in my development through Formula FARA, and I've learned so much working with them. Huge thanks to SuckerPunch, TIREBOSS and everyone else who has helped me reach this point in my career."
VRD Racing's Dan Mitchell shared his confidence in Mohrhardt's progression: "Jack has shown steady improvement throughout his time with VRD. His work ethic makes him an excellent addition to our USF2000 program. We've seen his growth firsthand in Formula FARA, and we believe he's ready to take on the challenges of the USF2000 Championship. We're looking forward to supporting his continued development this season."
Mohrhardt joins VRD Racing's USF2000 roster that will take to the track for the season opener in St. Petersburg Florida in February.
