Brownsburg, Ind. - Getting back on track seems to be the best medicine, and for John Cummiskey Racing it certainly helped get the team on a positive note in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda.

The double race weekend started out with Ayla Agren finishing 8th in Friday's race in her No. 33 Energima car while Lucas Kohl finished 21st in his No. 34 Bellko trading car after losing his front wing at the start of the race.

The second race had a similar outcome to the first.  Agren fought hard for her best finish of the season with a 6th place finish. Kohl had some difficulties during the race, including a drive-thru for avoidable contact. Regardless, Kohl finished the race 21st, gaining valuable experience before his first trip to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Agren: "Obviously we got P8 and P6 in the two races, it's not the results we came here for, we showed in qualifying that we have the speed to be able to be up there and fight but I think I can really make it happen with good race craft. We had some tweaking to do on the Energima car on Friday and we improved for Saturday.  We have a little bit more work to do but I think we'll be there for the Indy Grand Prix where I've got some knowledge now, the team is working really well together and we'll keep improving."

Kohl: "We had a good Bellko Trading car in qualifying but the red flag made me miss the quick lap so we started 14th in race one. I had an incident at the start and I lost my front nose and we needed to pit. For race two I started 15th and I tried to pass someone, made a mistake, had a flat tire and the race was over."

The USF2000 championship will resume racing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on Friday, May 13th at 1:00 PM ET and Saturday, May 14th at 12:15 PM ET. The races can be followed on the Road to Indy app for iOS and Android and at www.roadtoindy.tv.
