SFHR Development is proud to announce that Wian Boshoff will return to the team for the 2026 USF Championship season, marking his second year in the series and second consecutive season with the SFHRD team.

After a strong debut year, Boshoff enters the new season with valuable experience already under his belt—experience that will serve as a foundation for continued growth. With a better understanding of the demands, expectations and pace of USF competition, both Wian and the team are focused on building upon what they learned last season.

Continuity will be a major advantage this season, as Boshoff will once again work with the same engineers, mechanics and support staff. This consistency is expected to further strengthen communication, confidence and on-track performance.

The South African driver is also eager to return to the United States following a lengthy visa process and is excited to take on a familiar race schedule, allowing him to focus fully on preparation and performance.

“We’re really excited to see Wian enter his second year of big car racing,” said Sarah Fisher of SFHR Development. “This offseason gave us the opportunity to prepare as a team instead of making a last-minute entry like we did last year. Having that head start allows us to focus on every detail and build momentum from day one.”

Boshoff shared his enthusiasm about rejoining the team for another season:

“I’m incredibly grateful to be back with SFHR Development,” said Boshoff. “Last year taught me so much, and I feel like I’m coming into this season more confident, more prepared and more motivated than ever. Being with the same group of people makes a huge difference, and I can’t wait to get back on track and show what we can do.”

With a full offseason of preparation, a familiar environment and a strong foundation already in place, SFHR Development and Wian Boshoff are set to take an important step forward in their 2026 USF Championship campaign.
