USF2000 Showcases Drivers with Ad Campaign

The Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda has contracted with RACER magazine, the highly-regarded motorsports monthly, to highlight its drivers through a new advertising campaign. The first ad will introduce series points leader Petri Suvanto, driver of the #3 Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing entry, to the publication’s strong fan and industry base.


“One of the goals of USF2000 is to provide as much exposure as possible for drivers in the series,” said Dan Andersen, Owner and CEO of Andersen Promotions, the series promoter, who developed the initiative. “These are the stars of tomorrow. The Mazda Road to Indy system provides a great platform to give our drivers exposure in front of an established and growing fan base. We feel this advertising program will add to those efforts and help our drivers develop not only fan affinity but added exposure within the motorsports community at an early stage in their careers.”


The first ad headlined “Meet the Latest Flying Finn” will run in the Indianapolis 500 Preview and Centenary Special issue. All ads will include a QR code for smartphones featuring on-track footage.
