Oconomowoc, Wis. - Pabst Racing announced today that 17-year-old Yufeng Luo will return for his second season with the team in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda.  Luo will drive the #23 Pabst Racing USF2000 car for the 16-race  season, along with teammate Garth Rickards. The team is currently working to secure a third driver.

As a rookie, Luo finished eighth in the standings and scored three top-fives and eight top-10 results in the USF2000 Championship in 2015. After a strong first year, he looks to improve his performance in year two.

“My hope for the second season with Pabst Racing is to grab the championship,” said Luo.

In addition to running the 2015 USF2000 Championship, Pabst Racing and Luo won the Formula Continental National Championship at the SCCA Runoffs in September at Daytona International Speedway.

Luo is a resident of Arcadia, California, and was born in Beijing, China. His career began four years ago while racing in the Los Angeles Karting Championship. He has also raced in the Pacific F2000 Series.

The  2016 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Presented by Mazda will begin in St. Petersburg, Fla. March 11 - 13.
