  • JDC MotorSports Duo Battles Through Toronto

    Florida’s Kyle Connery avoided a wild opening lap accident to take sixth in the first Pro Mazda Championship race of the weekend, and he backed this up with a solid tenth in Race 2 to record a pair of top-10s. Fellow JDC MotorSports pilot Parker Thompson was quick in his USF2000 Championship entry, but he got caught up in the mid-pack chaos in both races after a minor qualifying miscue mired him deep in the field.

  • Gabin Secures First USF2000 Podium Finish for Team Pelfrey

    Team Pelfrey enjoyed a productive weekend in Canada as the Mazda Road to Indy ventured to the streets of Toronto, Ont., Canada, in conjunction with the Verizon IndyCar Series. There was more good news for the Florida-based team in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda as MAZDASPEED scholarship driver Luke Gabin made his first visit to the podium in Race Two of the double-header.

  • Jamin Increases Points Lead with Toronto Victory

    For the third straight Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda race, the main combatants for the victory were sophomore drivers Nico Jamin and Jake Eidson. But this time the result was more satisfying for Jamin, who had been bested by his closest championship contender, Pabst Racing’s Eidson, after he started on pole in the prior two contests.

  • Jamin Wins Fifth Race, Increases Championship Lead

    Nico Jamin knew that racing in Toronto against the top Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda contenders would be a tough weekend. With that in mind, Jamin, who came to Canada with the championship lead after nine races, accomplished his goal: score two pole positions, secure a second-place finish in Race 1 on Saturday, and then win Round 11 on Sunday.
