Leading junior formula open wheel squad JDC MotorSports will cap off their season of Mazda Road to Indy competition this weekend (September 11-13) at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, Calif., and they’ll have a full paddock of five drivers for this event which will be waged at a facility that is considered to be Mazda’s spiritual home.

Frenchman Nico Jamin travels to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with his eyes set squarely on clinching the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda for himself and the Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing team.

After a successful program in 2014 that saw four Rotax drivers awarded a one-day test in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda, Mazda Road to Indy (MRTI), Andersen Promotions and MAXSpeed Group are pleased to announce more details for the 2015 edition of the Driver Advancement Program as well as the panel of four judges that will select this year’s test winners.

The first two levels of the highly successful Mazda Road to Indy – the unique driver development program providing a clear, scholarship-funded path for drivers to follow toward the pinnacle of the sport – are set for a revitalization as Andersen Promotions today announced plans to introduce a new chassis in each series.
