Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing continued its winning tradition as its drivers finished first, second and fifth in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda “Night Before the 500.”

Belardi Auto Racing's Cooper Tires Presents USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda team excelled at the only oval event on their 2012 season schedule with three top-10 finishes at Lucas Oil Raceway Park in Clermont, IN.

While an early race incident ultimately prevented the Minnesota squad from showing its true pace, Heamin Choi was one of the highlights in single-car qualifying, and second-year racer Timmy Megenbier executed a great recovery drive on the banked oval.

After showing good speed in the lead-up to the prestigious Night Before the 500 race, the JDC MotorSports rookie's oval debut ended after just one lap via an unavoidable incident at Lucas Oil Raceway.
