Mazda Road to Indy team, Belardi Auto Racing, announced today that Australian native Roman Lagudi has signed with their USF2000 team.

In a wheel-to-wheel battle producing one of the more memorable Walter Hayes Trophy Grand Finals, Irishman Wayne Boyd finished 2nd to Adrian Campfield with only .279 seconds between them.

Belardi Auto Racing announced this week that 16-year-old Luca Forgeois will compete for the team in the Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda 2012 season.

The Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda has confirmed the dates and venues for the second annual Cooper Tires Winterfest Championship – a six-race mini-series which provides teams and drivers the opportunity to gain a jumpstart their 2012 season campaigns.

More than 30 cars from the three Mazda Road to Indy series are expected to participate in the two-day Chris Griffis Memorial Mazda Road to Indy Open Test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
