The start of the official 2015 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda is quickly approaching and Oconomowoc, Wisconsin-based Pabst Racing today announced the signing of their second full-season driver, Jake Eidson.

This year, a 19-year-old Frenchman, who landed from his native Rouen, France a year before to pursue his childhood dream of racing in America, was entered in the 2015 Cooper Tires Winterfest. Nicolas Jamin, nicknamed Nico, came to New Orleans with great ambitions and the determination to start writing the pages of his own personal racing history book.

Afterburner Autosport has made known its intent to challenge for the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda, scoring a pair of wins at this year’s Winterfest series at NOLA Motorsports Park and Barber Motorsports Park, taking second overall in the process.

A dramatic pair of races today in bitterly cold conditions at Barber Motorsports Park saw young Frenchman Nico Jamin of Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing edge Brazilian Victor Franzoni to the fifth annual Cooper Tires Winterfest title.
