Mazda has supported more road racers over the past decade than any other automaker, and for 2012 is stepping up that support to include extended TV coverage on the new Velocity network.

The Mazda Road to Indy will be featured as part of the “Mazda Motorsports Hour” which will debut in April on Discovery’s Velocity network.

Cape Motorsports with Wayne Taylor Racing recently came to an agreement with 15-year-old Henrik Furuseth to compete in the USF2000 National Class Championship.

Alliance Autosport announces its entry into the 2012 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda. The team based in Columbus, Ohio, will compete full-time with multiple Formula Enterprises chassis in the USF2000 National class.

Pabst Racing Services announced today it has signed Shannon McIntosh to compete in the 2012 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship Powered by Mazda. McIntosh will pilot the No. 18 TrueCar Mazda.
