Jensen MotorSport is pleased to announce that Raul Prados - one of the top race engineers in the Formula 1 feeder series GP2 – will join our Firestone Indy Lights Championship racing team for the 2012 season. Prados will also be working with young drivers being developed by Jensen MotorSport – including American driver Ryan Tveter – with winter testing programs and the USF2000 winter series races in Florida at the Sebring and Palm Beach circuits in February 2012.

Andretti Autosport secured the team championship title for the second consecutive year at the conclusion of the 2011 Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda season on Sept. 4 in Baltimore.

As a first-year two-liter operation, Sick Tea Racing certainly made it’s mark on the Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship Powered by Mazda series. The new team ended its highly successful inaugural season of competition this past weekend (September 3-4), experiencing both the highs and lows of motorsports at the Baltimore Grand Prix.

Belardi Auto Racing finishes its impressive USF2000 series season in 3rd place of the Championship run. Wayne Boyd also finishes 3rd in the drivers’ standings with Luigi Biangardi in 10th after only competing in six of the twelve rounds of competition.

JDC MotorSports ended its race-winning 2011 Cooper Tires Presents the USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda season this past weekend (September 3-4), with an up-and down affair at the Baltimore Grand Prix.
